Celebrating Cultural Diversity Week
At Emerson Elementary, we are proud to celebrate the many cultures, traditions, languages, and experiences that make our Bulldog community so special! Cultural Diversity Week, September 28–October 2, gives our students and families an opportunity to share, learn, and celebrate what makes each of us unique while recognizing the importance of belonging and community.As we continue celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we are especially excited to honor the rich history, traditions, music, art, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Throughout the week, our Spirit Days will encourage students to proudly express themselves and celebrate their heritage—from Diversity Day and Dreamers Day to Como la Flor Day, Si Se Puede–Yes, You Can!, and Emerson Action Day!
We invite all of our Bulldogs to join in the fun and participate in the Spirit Week activities featured on the flyer. Wear something that represents your culture, dream big, celebrate with color, show your college or VAPA spirit, and finish the week in Emerson red!
Together, we celebrate our differences, learn from one another, and remember that our diversity is one of the things that makes Emerson mighty!
