First Day of School - Thursday, 8/20/2026

Hello Family, Friends, and Emerson Community, 

We are excited to welcome all students back for the first day of school on Thursday, August 20, 2026!
🍳 Breakfast begins at 7:45 AM- Enter through the Main Gate
🚪 School gates open at 8:00 AM- All other gates are open

As we launch into our new school year theme, of  BACK to the FUTURE: “Rooted in Our Past, Driven by Our Future, Together as one Community” we can’t wait to see our Bulldogs ready to learn, grow, and create an amazing year together!

Families are invited to capture this special milestone by taking first-day photos at our designated photo locations:
• Main Gate
• Kinder–2nd Grade Gate
• ZUM Gate

Parents will be allowed to walk on to campus from 8:00 am- 8:15 am. Parents will hear an announcement and we will ask that you kindly make your way out through the main gate. Please help us make this an easy transition for our students. We also ask that all parents stay on the black top area, and not enter your child's classroom.

Kindergarten Parents: We know tomorrow will be a tough transition for your child.  At 8:20, please make your way to the courtyard- near the main entrance to have a brief meet and greet with Mrs. Arevalo, our school principal and other important staff members. We will also have support staff to help our kinder studnets with a smooth transition.
