School Expectations

  • Practice the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
    • Habit 1: Be Proactive

  • Be respectful of others and their property.  Good manners are required at all times.
  • Be on time for school and classes.
    • The campus opens at 7:50 a.m. for students eating breakfast and 8:00 a.m. for the remaining students.
    • Line up by your classroom door by 8:15 a.m.
    • Stay out of the hallways.
    • Class starts at 8:20 a.m. 
    • Students are never to leave campus without permission from the office and the notification of their teacher.
  • Play games according to the rules.
    • The school provides school play equipment.
    • Special permission from teachers or the principal must be obtained for exceptions.
    • When the bell rings, students should stop their activity and line up at once at the direction of the person on duty.
  • Use restrooms and drinking fountains for their intended purposes.
  • Eat healthy and properly.
    • Gum is not permitted at school.
    • Food should be eaten in the cafeteria or at the outside lunch tables.
  • Keep the campus and classrooms clean.  Pick up trash whenever you see it.
  • Leave campus upon dismissal. 
    • Wait in front of the school (on the grass) if you are waiting for someone.
    • Do not wait in the hallways.
  • Stay safe.
    • The parking lot is off limits for students.  
    • All bicycles must be walked on the grounds and locked in the bike rack. Helmets are required.
